CARDIOLOGY
Heart Care is a complex field that requires a range of preventive care, screening, advanced diagnostic tests, invasive and non-invasive procedures, postoperative management, cardiac rehabilitation, and a full range of surgical programs.
Heart Care today has evolved into a service that is in demand everywhere, especially in India and the developing world. An aging population and the epidemic of Coronary Artery Disease which India and surrounding countries face making cardiac surgical facilities essential. Operating on the most Central organ of the body demands the best of Human Resources, Technical Skills, Equipment, and Team Effort. There are no margins for error.
Kothari Hospital has dedicated its services in the field of cardiac care in North India and can proudly claim the spot of the market leader in heart care. The proficiency, precision, and skill of our cardiac services demonstrate our pioneering contributions in this field. Kothari Hospital will pursue its commitment to lead in the dominion of cardiac care and continue to be the most sought-after destination for patients. Kothari Hospital has successfully treated thousands of heart patients and successfully performed a number of cardiac procedures and surgeries.
Cardiology is a medical specialty dealing with disorders of the heart. The field includes diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology.

- Non Invasive
Interventional Cardiology pertains to a patient's evaluation which involves exposure to the patient's blood. These are generally considered advanced forms of diagnostic or therapeutic techniques. The procedures under this section are carried out in our well-equipped and high-tech Cardiac Catheterization laboratories.

The pediatric (also known as paediatric) cardiac program Eternal Hospital seeks to provide comprehensive and state-of-the-art services for children suffering from any type of heart ailment. These services are made available to one and all at affordable costs. The possible pointers to heart diseases in infants (less than one year of age) include:
- Difficulty with feeding
- Excessive sweating
- Breathing difficulty
- Blueness of lips, fingers and toes
- Poor growth
- Frequent episodes of chest infection
What tests will a child have to undergo?
Your child will have a complete physical examination including height, weight, and blood pressure readings, an electrocardiogram (recording of the heart rhythm) and if indicated, an echocardiogram (sonogram of the heart), followed by a consultation with the pediatric cardiologist. Additional testing may include a 24 hour recording of the heart rhythm, recording the heart rhythm while facing the above mentioned symptoms and an exercise stress test (monitoring the heart rate and rhythm during exercise on a treadmill).
Non Invasive Cardiology pertains to cardiovascular evaluation without getting exposure to the patient's blood. It involves tests which are generally considered the basic and essential first steps towards a cardiac evaluation.
- Transthoracic Echocardiography with color Doppler - 2D, 3D
- Transesophageal ECHO - 2D, 3D
- Saline Contrast ECHO
- Stress ECHO - Dobutamine Exercise
- Pediatric Congenital ECHO
- Electrocardiogram (ECG)
- Holter Monitoring
- Computerized Tread Mill Test (TMT)
